Yes, even though he was never president, not legally, not legitimally, not even in fantasy, Al Gore is leaving a legacy.

His legacy?  A sore loser!  Yes some elections are decided by razor thin margins.  We had one here that was decided by 3 votes (mine was on the losing side).  But we screamed to the gods above and vowed to do better (we did).  We did not yell about stolen elections (guess that is Gore's legacy).

But now Senor Alice Gore is doing just that in Mexico.  Even though no proof exists (it was subverted and hidden of course) and half the world attests to the cleanest election since time immemorable!  No, Senor Al gore (aka Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador) Has decided that he, not God knows all and he KNOWS more than the combined mentats of the modern world.

Senor AL Gore is not alone.  He has many mind numbed robots to do his bidding.  Much like his mentor.

In the end, the only thing we know, is that liberals cannot stand the ballot box.  Like a vampire cannot stand a cross.  It is their way or the high way.  And it is tiring.

And in time, the moderates will see their latest tirade as just a juvenile screed.  For when you cry wolf too many times, you eventually do see that children are the ones doing it.

And children they are. A shame.

Of course, when Al Gore lost, he and his 'ilk' didn't swarm into Washington D.C. and virtually shut down the city with mass protesting, demand for a full recount across the nation (in Flordia, maybe, but not the entire United States), block the farewell speech of the former president (or, in this case, the inauguration of Bush), refuse to believe the courts responsible for overseeing the electoral process after he/they had lost, flatly refuse to accept any decision other than one in their favor, call the entire election process (IE the whole democratic voting system of the United States [possibly excluding Florida ]) corrupt and evil, or pledge to create a seperate government and rule from the streets. I think it is rather disingenous to say that everything Obrador has done is a direct result of the 2000 presidential election in the United States (which was a bit fishy, but eh, I'm somewhat liberal, so of course it will seem that way ).

Primarily because we elect through the electoral college, and Mexico elects via popular vote.  What I find disingenuous are the people calling for the elimation of the electoral college and a direct election by the populace.  Then Gore's 1/2 million vote margin would have been closer than Obrador's loss.
