Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

Apparently, Mother Nature wants to celebrate the Anniversary of Katrina as well.  Her latest pupil is Ernesto, and he is headed for the Big Easy in about 6 days at at least (according to forecasts) at Cat 3 Hurricane.

So the "great" people of N'orleans are going to find out.  Is Chocolate Ray smart enough to have learned?  Or are the School Busses going to get flooded as he sucks his thumb and taunts New York?

Me?  I am just glad I am not there, but I have to pray from my family.  From the latest reports, there will not be a lot to clean up down there.  As the CITY and STATE have failed to even address the clean up (the FEDS have at least rebuilt the Levees).

And a side note, Hey Algore!  Kristina was a K, Ernesto is an E, and both are around at the same time.  So you figure we have just broken the Global Warming catastrophy and now are heading for a Global Cooling one?  I mean, less than half the storms in the same period of time.  I guess we did something right in 12 months!

Anyone for a Chocolate City Malted?

I really hope that nothing comes of this storm season and that NO (as in none, nada, zilch, zero, etc.) area of the country has to experience any natural disasters this season. Hopefully the storms will peter out before getting near any areas that could be harmed.

Last year was clearly not one of the best in disaster management and crisis management and I'd rather not have this season become a follow-up pop-quiz type test of whether or not changes that may have been made will make a difference.

Anyway, god speed folks of the South East.

Especially my Cousin.  She was displaced for 3 months!  We can hope, but best we prepare for the worst.  Forecasts that are days out are about as reliable as a Medium's lottery picks.  Still, it looks to at least side swipe them, and I hope they are at least once cursed, twice warned.

Ray Nagin should STFU about pretty much everything.  Who the eff is he to criticize the WTC rebuilding efforts?  He couldn't even utilize his own city's resources to evacuate it's citizens....he's the kind of guy who couldn't organize a piss-up in a brewery (that's Brit for 'beerfest', btw).  I'm so tired of hearing his bullshit baloney.  I was so angry when I heard his comments yesterday I had to call my husband and vent for a while.

As for Ernesto....well, I truly hope that it doesn't affect N.O. OR mississippi.  Those poor folks have had enough to deal with in the past year, they don't need any more disaster or tragedy.

WOW!  I agree with the above, but the rest of it was pure gold!  WOW! I wish I could be so eloquent!  No arguements here!  Now I see why you are Dharma!

Well said, have a coolkie!  2 thumbs up!
