Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

Well, maybe not all of them, but some are too stupid to live, and we got one here.  He has been Captured.  But William Morva was awaiting trial on charges of Armed Robbery.  First offense, good defense weasel, he could have been out in 5-10 years.  Maybe less.

Instead he killed 2 people, one a Deputy Sheriff.  Now, he will not see the light of freedom again, and in all probability get the chair (or the needle - they give you a choice here).

You can kill a family, and get one crying juror, and get Life without Parole.  But you kill a cop?  The State and the Police go all out to make sure the only thing you are going to kill are cockroaches in your cell before they do the last mile march.

He just traded a 5 year sentence for death.  Yea, that is real smart.  But I guess most criminals are like him.  Did he really think he was going to get away when he committed murder? Idiot.

end quote

Did he think he was going to get away with the 1st crime he committed? Some people just do not think, they just react. Really stupid.

yea, Cops do not track robbers with dogs and a county shutdown.  But when you kill a cop, you are not going to get away.  The lucky ones are captured alive.  Well, lucky is a debatable term I guess.

I've seen people make even stupider trades for death. One for his wife's tip money from her waitressing job to buy crack with and another for an elderly woman's check book.

The first woman was killed with a hammer blow and the second was raped, had her throat cut, and her panties stuffed in her mouth and was left to be found by her bible study group of all things. No, like we alwasy tell each other at work- they ain't known for their smarts.

We have what they call the "Drag bandit" around here.  A guy robbing banks in a wig.  So far he has not been caught.  But then he has not hurt anyone either.  He probably will be (he has done it 3 times now).  But the cops are probably laughing too hard at this point.  If he turns violent, he will be in the pokey in days.

The smart ones know, keep it peaceful, and they will take their time.  The stupid ones turn violent, or just cant break an MO and that is what gets them.

Money is replaceable.  Lives are not.
