I took my son Bowling today.  I have been bowling for about 40 years.  But today, this young whipper snapper beat me 2 out of 3 games!

He is finally starting to get the hang of bowling (less lobbing and more aiming).  And while none of the games were a blow out, he beat me!  Gone are the days when I had to stroke his ego!

Now he is just doing a victory dance and waiting for my wife to come home to crow about it!

"But...But....But.... My shoulder hurt!".  Suck it up old man!  That is just your age!

Yep!  I am getting old!  And now I need the handicap when we go bowling!

how revolting!

Doc, if it were me, I would have told him I let him beat me just so he'd feel better.

Nah!  The kid is smarter than that.  He would have called me on it in a heart beat.

So when they were in their teens and I said I would whip their butt, they could never be sure. It's all about strategy and playing the mind games....

Kind of like my brother and I.  I use to whip his butt all the time, but the last fight we had, I realized he was almost as strong as I, and it was time to retire the fist-de-cuffs.  He never beat me, but that was cause I was smart enough not to fight him when he got bigger than me.
