I recently wrote an article that basically said if Cuba Attacked us, what would we do.  It garnered some responses, but no real debate.  Yet we have a real scenario where we see a "Cuba" bombing the hell out of a "Miami".  And I see the results.

And I cannot fathom it.  War is not the answer.  But when it is the only alternative, why condemn the defenders?  Because they can then take the war to the other territory?  That is not the mark of an aggressor.  That is the mark of a well prepared nation to defend its citizens.

We were attacked on 9-11.  Should our response been limited to those that only were responsible?  Yea, we have smart bombs.  But they do not have DNA tags and so when we launch them, we hope they get the perps.  But we cannot be sure that non-perps are in the blast radius.

But if we cannot guarantee that, should we then not respond at all?  Once an enemy has found your weakness, they will exploit it!  To the max.  That is what Enemies do.  And the sliest ones, do it best.

That is what the world is demanding of Israel right now.  To give up their weakness to an enemy that has shown none except in honor.  And honor does not win a war.  And it is a war.  If the hezbollah were "honorable" they would fire rockets from corn fields instead of city streets.  So that Israel could make sure that their response was directed to that location, and civilians would not be harmed.

But War is not an honorable thing, and indeed, in today's world, the enemy is not honorable.  They would rather kill a child (a child cannot fight as an adult) than expose themselves.

And yet the world is aghast!  For what?  For a group that makes Nazis look honorable!

And who does the world condemn?  The radical Nazis?  No, they condemn the defenders of humanity. The people that want no civilian to die.  But realize that to rid the world of vermin, that hide among the children like cowering cowards, that some will.  And they mourn every one.

And how many civilian deaths does Hezbollah mourn?  Do you really mourn your targets?

The hypocrisy of the UN and others in this conflict is just too stupid for a cognizant mind to comprehend.  Yet so many are jumping on the "Blame Israel" bandwagon.  And it is really pathetic.

I rail against the left all the time. As being stupid, myopic and hate Bush only.  Yet it seems that some on the left have a greater agenda than Hate Bush.  They have their number one agenda as Humanity (even if we don't agree as to the means), and they are not coddling Hezbollah.  They are condemning them.  And I am sure they don't like being on the same side as Bush.  But at least they are not hypocrites to their beliefs.

Sadly, they are a small minority of the far left.  And that is telling in itself.
