Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

Sitting and watching TNG, I am again assaulted by Diane Muldaur when she arrogantly decides that the genetic mutants must be safe, but the wise Captain does not allow her to bring one on board.  So they do the deed in a shuttle - she and Data.  Of course as we all know, they are the source for the illness cripling the outpost (and killing a ships crew).  Since Data is not biological, he can escape.

Why did they have to save her with a strand of her hair?  Best to have let her die for her stupidity!

Oh, well, at least she did not last more than one season.

This episode was one that opened a can of worms with their transporter technology. If you could use the transporter to revert to previous DNA that would mean transporters could make you immortal. Every time you went through it your DNA could be reverted to previous state, undoing any damage caused by aging or toxins.

You had to bring up another flaw!  And you are right.  I guess I have to work my worst epsiodes to put this one at the top!
