Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.
Published on June 6, 2006 By Dr Guy In Politics

In one of the sickest examples of refusing to accept responsibility for ones own actions, a 40 something year old lawyer has decided she had an abortion because of Bush.

And then she spends the next dozen paragraphs detailing her own irresponsibility and that of her husband, plus decisions made by doctors and pharmacies - not required by law - plus decisions of the state of Virginia.  Yet this all must be Bush's fault.  Nowhere is there a direct link to Bush (He was never Governor of Virginia nor held any other elected post in the state).  Yet it is Bush's fault that her husband cannot keep his pecker in his pants and she 'forgot' her diaphragm!

Then to top it off, her "chosen" OB-GYN said they did not deal with the 72 hour drug, but that was Bush's fault (Please site me the law on that one).  And so she went to her backups, none of which would prescribe it for her (again Bush's fault).  So she decided to risk it.  Bush's fault no doubt.  Because she did not want to try the phone book. (Bush's fault for not allowing billboards no doubt).

And she got pregnant.  Bush's fault (or maybe that was just Slick Willie?).

She goes on to describe the back room abortionist and the hangar abortion (it sounds like it!) and all of that must be Bush's fault as well, since he outlawed abortion, right?  Oh, wait, she went to planned parenthood (an oxymoron).  And she was so degraded!  By Bush.

If you do not have the stomach to read one of the whiniest pity parties ever printed in an MSM rag, I would skip the article.  The article did sicken me.  It sickened me that a 42 year old mother of 2 could be so helpless and so much a victim, and so clueless when it comes to her own actions.  Since she is younger than me, I KNOW she had sex education in school, if not at home.  But like all victims, it much have gone in one ear and out the other.

I feel sorry for her 2 children.  They are going to grow up as helpless victims.  And not be able to function in society because it will be Bush's fault.  And he wont be around to blame.

Dana, you are a pathetic excuse for a woman, and a waste of a sack of epidermis.

Amazing that the Washington Post would give her a forum.

What a victim mentality. I can't believe Bush and his religio-fascist police state he created hurt this woman so very much.

I cant believe they did not snuff her out to silence her - based on her victimhood.

hahahaha doc you are a hoot and a half!!

I'm about her age, and I can't for the life of me even imagine being pregnant at my age now, but I certainly wouldn't resort to an abortion if I found myself there either.

I believe God throws little tests in our lives and for this lady.....I think she flunked. I don't care how smart she THINKS she is.

All that lawyer learning replaced her common sense I'm afraid. Maybe she's looking to sue Bush next. Isn't that what all lawyers do?

She must be a defense attorney. There's no other profession so good at blaming one's actions on the community, or making up excuses for one's bad behavior.

Not really.  I doubt the editors read the piece.  They just agreed with the headlilne.

Actually, this was not even about her getting an abortion.  Just the audacity she had in trying to blame her own irresponsibility  on someone else. Millions of women get abortions each year, but most dont blame Bush.

Good point!  I wonder how many murderers she has freed so they can kill again.  Since she lives in the DC area, it is not like she has a dearth of clients.

wait a minute... did I read this right? George Bush is an abortion? No wonder he has that underdeveloped brain.
