Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

A while back, Cordelia did a blog on where are you.  But it was limited to the 50 states.  Which was good, but not really good for all.  Recently, Sally posted a blog, and Dynamaso said something about posting while we sleep.  He lives down under, so yea, he is offset from us colonials by 12-14 hours.  I know Islandgurl is also over there as she does not usually come on line until after 6pm, my time.

But I am curious as to where you are at in time.  Here on the east coast of America, we are at GMT-4 right now (Greenwich Meridian Time).  We are also on daylight savings time (you know where you cut off one end of the blanket and sew it to the other end to make it longer.)  During normal times, we are GMT-5.

So where are you?  For windows users, it is easy to find out.  Go to your PC Clock and click on Time zones.  It shows you your stated one (alaskan time) but also your GMT offset.  So let us know.  And the fun of this is everyone is right (OBTW:  Macs have the same setup on their Date/Time Control Panel - Mason will have to instruct you on the Linux setup - i.e. where you can find it).

Show us your Clocks!

Hey this is fun I'm at G+11. It includes the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu as well. So I didnt suffer any jet lag when I moved to here, hehe.

I think Maso should be at G+9, but on my computer it says G+10... Must be the dalight saving thingy too.

I will let Maso answer for himself, but apparently he is farther west than you.  How is your bug?  I hope it is getting better, or this is the Docs computer!

and it's 5:45 p.m. right now and yes we do that silly thing with changing the clocks 2x a year....

I'm simply on GMT, sunny old England. So I'm blogging as Maso is tucked up in bed, awww!

Except the computers do it themselves now!  I always check my computer during those 2 times!

I think that the east coast is on GMT -5 (not GMT -4)-- at least that's what my computer is telling me.

Now I feel bad!  We are having an extended spring, so it is nice and comfortable (very atypical).  I will blow some of the weather over your way.  After all I am a blow hard!

You must be in Indiana!  Wait, they went to Daylight Savings time this ywar as well!

Oops!  Yep!  Windows does not tell you the DST offset!  Stupid Microsoft!  Oh well, yes, we are -5 normally (or since DST is going to be 8 months of the year, is that normal?)  -4 Now.  Maybe thye can just make it year round so I dont have to try to make my watch move ahead an hour.

nah!  Like the are going to make it easy?

My initial reponse to that was going to be...I'll go and lay in bed and wait for it, but thinking about it, that just sounds plain wrong! So I shall say nothing, probably safest option, haha!

Depends on where I am on any given day, with my job you could say I'm a professional time traveler.

If that's the case, then Sally can't be GMT, because we are five hours behind England. You see, the Brits do Daylight's Saving too.
