I thought of putting this under humor, but nah! I have too much there now, besides it is current events.
It seems that "Bullwhip Griffin" Alec Baldwin may be suave on screen, but is a bumbling fool when it comes to real life. Instead of taking on Sean Hannity on his show, the actor, World Class brainiac, ducked him and went on Brian Whitman's show. Same network, but one tosses softballs and the other tosses spitballs. You got to read the exchange as it really is hilarious. I don't like Sean much as he is a little too right for me, but he is fun (many times) to listen to, and this was one of them! Baldwin starts off with a parry to the midriff:
BALDWIN: I wouldn't dream of coming on your program, Sean Hannity. I'm here with Brian. I'm here with a really talented broadcaster.BALDWIN: Why would I want to come on the show with a no-talent, former construction worker hack like you?
BALDWIN: At first I thought this was a joke. But you can hear all the acid venom spewing hatred. It is Sean Hannity.
But Hannity then lets loose a zinger, feeble but effective:
HANNITY: ... who said to stone Henry Hyde to death? Are you the guy who said our president is a CIA mass murderer? I wanted you to come on the program and defend that, you gutless coward.
At this point Whitman has lost control of his show! I wonder if he knew it? Now Baldwin is MAD! He is calling Hannity out:
BALDWIN: And what are you gonna do about it, Sean Hannity?
Can you just see that? "Knock that chip off my shoulder!". But Mark Levin joins in and Baldwin goes after him as well:
BALDWIN: And who's that - who's your little cabin boy there with you.
But that was not out of the blue as Mark Levin is a very in your face guy, and yes, Baldwin was provoked:
LEVIN: He's going to show that you have a two digit IQ - that's what he's gonna do.LEVIN: I'm not a cabin boy, butt-boy.
At this point Baldwin walks out and Brian Whitman is wondering what happened to his show.
With due respect to Alec Baldwin, a "talented broadcaster' would not have lost control of his show so badly! But for those of us who love a good laugh, we do thank Mr. Whitman. You don't have to have a political persuasion to laugh at this one! LOL
