Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

WOW! With appologies to Bluedev who is in mourning, I have to say the George Mason/Connecticut game was awesome! And the Verizon Arena was rocking in anticipation of an upset! They were not denied.

I am not a GMU fan. My team is in their league, and was the highest ranked (81) not to make it into either tournament. Tough cookies. So I am not a GMU fan. Until now! Hell yes! I think the media wants a cinderella team every year, and usually they blow it. Pick one and it loses. It is media hype. But being a Virginian, I root for the state team (did you know that the only state that had 2 teams in the final 12 - 8 of the NCAA and 4 of the NIT - was Virginia?). Except when it comes to UCLA or USC. Sorry, I go back to my sports awakening.

But now, I do have to pick. As UCLA and GMU (VA) are in the final 4. The only question is "am I half right" as I did pick Nova and UCLA (and Nova is losing) along with 2 has beens to be in the final 4.

But should the impossible happen, UCLA and GMU will be in the championship.

AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGG!

Not a perfect dilemna, but a damn good one. And GMU played Uconn to the hilt!

It was a great game, and while I don’t usually have time to listen, today I did (radio is best for this! Trust me!)

I picked Duke, and I am sorry for Bluedev. But I am not sorry for this March Madness! WOW!

I started to write a 'congrats to George Mason' article, but I think I'll simply add those comments here instead.

The Patriots of Mason have done incredibly well, and the fans should be quite proud. I wish them all the best in their next game, and have a sneaking suspicion they could actually do it all over again and knock off Florida. I'm not saying they will, just saying they could.

I picked UCLA for my pools, and am still pulling for them to do it all.

For yet another season we see that just being seeded number 1 isn't enough to get through the games. You still have to play them, and both teams have a chance, especially if one assumes that they don't really have to work to win the game.

I'm pulling for Mason vs. Florida, and UCLA against LSU. Sorry LSU and big baby, but it's time to go home for you guys, baby needs a new pair of shoes over here.

I picked UCLA to lose to Duke in the Championship, so I am going for the same 2 teams as you now.  IN the Championship?  If they both win, I am going back to my roots.  Sorry GMU, but you have had a great year!
