Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

Listening to the radio, a talk show, I heard that the reason the reporters are not going out and reporting the real news in Iraq is because it is dangerous.

Indeed it is.  It seems more journalist have been killed in Iraq than any war in a very long time.  And we all heard about Bob Woodward.

But that brings up another question.  If the journalist are so scared, what are they scared of?  American/Allied troops?  Other than that idiot driver of the Italian Journalist, none have been killed by allied forces.  So who have they been killed by?

Perhaps the Insurgents?  The ones they write glowingly about.  The ones that are the saviours of Iraq?  According to the Journalist and the CPT.

The CPT explicitly stated they did not want to be rescued by a force of arms.  yet they were.  One of them died before the rescue.  So what did they do?  Praise the captors not the rescuers.

Kind of like the Journalist. Any wonder we dont read or listen to their stuff any longer?  You beat a puppy long enough, and he will turn into a cur.  The Journalist have created their own cur.  No wonder we dont listen to them.

I've not seen anyone write glowingly about the insurgents in Iraq.

I read a couple of stories in the LA Times.  I will google them later today and link to them.

I heard an interview with a reporter back from Iraq. He was asked what was the best memory he had of his time over there. He said something, "watching our troops get in vehicles without hesitation, and head out for their patrols and convoys. While the reporters are making excuses about not going out with the troops, the troops are just loading up and going, like they were going to a movie or something." We need more reporters with that kind of respect for our troops.

We need more reporters with that kind of respect for our troops.

Or just respect for the truth, without agenda.
