Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

Yesterday, we were supposed to have a great snow storm! (well, 3 inches which is rare for us this late in the year).  By Mid day, it was down to a flake here or there (and some snow ones as well).  We were just getting cold rain.

Not a lot, and we need it, but the thirsty earth drank it in.

Then what to my wandering eyes should appear?  But a tiny sleigh and 8 tiny reindeer! Screech!  Sorry, wrong story.  We got about an inch of snow.  It accumulated on the lawns over night, but not on the roads, but the temperatures got down to 28 or so (TG that Mason was not here!  I know he is a good driver, but he would have been the only one).  So we did have some icy patches.

And a 42 car pile up (minor injuries and no fatalities) on one Interstate exchange.  So I can laugh about that one.

But the snow was good!  beautiful, and gone.  But unlike rain, which would have allowed run off, the snow was allowed to melt slowly and soak in!  So even tho we did not get a lot, it was good!  pretty to look at, non-hazardous (except for the local fools), and gone by mid day.

A perfect snow storm!  and probably the last for 9 months!

Spring, I am ready!

When I get on one of these, and realize I am getting cliched, I do that.  I figure people are going "wait, I heard that before", so I travel a little farther and then go whoa!

Thanks!  Glad you were not driving around here.  My wife and I had no problems, but then we stayed away from the stupids!

Hehe, Doc. Woke up this morning to about 1/2" here in Williamsburg. Looked out the window, still 3/4's asleep and I'm doing triple-takes and thinking "What the ..."

And 3", in total, for a winter has been an extreme winter for Virginia.

Williamsburg. eh?  Guess it got you as well.  We are shutting down our Lanexa operation.  Gas is too expensive.  But glad you got a nice scene.  really that was all it was.

Something about Virginians and snow seems to do a lobotomy on the residents!
