Next SunSpot Cycle to be 50% More Intense

In the latest news from the other planets, scientist now claim that the next sunspot cycle will be much more intense than normal, and is believed to start in about 2 1/2 years.

The next sunspot cycle will be between 30 percent to 50 percent more intense than the last one, scientists said Monday.

I wonder how they will blame Bush, the US and Polution for that one.

Damn it,

As much as I hate Bush, I think it might be hard press to actually stick this one on him.
I will not give up though. I will find a way.

Maybe Bush will surprise us one morning with:

Good morning citizens, this morning we launched a pre-emptive strike against the Sun for fear it was harboring Al Qaeda.
You see we just can't take a chance that they are there...
we destroyed the sun to stop it's harmful rays.

And besides it was just plain easier than signing the Kyoto agreement.

I think that would be a great Aprils Foolsday joke for Cheney to do to him.

"Umm sir we just launched a strike against the sun for the following reasons, you have to go on public tv and break the news..."

I honestly coud see him falling for it.

"Against the sun?... Well it is always overhead... and it does get in my eyes..."

It's ironic, the enviro-wackos are willing to blame the sun for a lot of things. However, if you try to bring up the sun where climate change is concerned, all of the sudden, the sun is somehow left out of the picture.

Of course, it is all the fault of us humans that the climate is changing. It's all our fault that the climate on several other planets has been changing too. I'm sure if we didn't send all those satelites up into the earth's orbit Father Sol wouldn't have had to compensate by increasing sunspot activity... or was it the fact that we slammed a probe into a comet that as the sun all fired up? ;~D
