Teresa Heinz Kerry is no longer. Nope, she is now again, Teresa Heinz.

Does this mean that she is mad at Hanoi John?

Or, does this mean he is not going to run in 08?

Or does this mean she is just flip flopping, like her husband, and wil go back to Heinz-Kerry for the 08 run?

Inquiring minds want to know.

turkey bacon tastes like crap....ugggh!

I may look for the kosher bacon with the beef pastrami, though...might be worth trying.

If you can't find it... just buy some sliced beef pastami and fry it up like you would bacon... it's yummy.

Evangelical Hillary????????

I think I might have misread something. Was referring to mumblings in the press months ago in which she claimed to be evangelical, but as I searched for an article on it, I'm thinking it was satire. It was an article in the National Review... here's a piece of it:

We welcome back to the area Senator Hillary Clinton (D., N.Y.), who has been spending so much time here in Little Rock lately that she's practically joined the church choir! "I'm here spending time at my husband's library," she told the Lamp when we caught up with her after a Sunday camp meeting, "and of course, I always take time to worship God in as evangelical a way as is feasible, given time and location constraints. As you know, I consider myself an evangelical Christian, really a Christian conservative, if you want to know the truth, so it's nice to be 'home' again in the South, which I really consider my quote-unquote home even though I live in New York most of the time. Well, Washington, D.C., most of the time, actually, but if I'm not there I'm in New York, of course, but always thinking about being here, in the South, my spiritual home, where I shared so many wonderful evangelical . . . moments and . . . events. Can you read that back to me?"

The "Light the Lamp!" staff would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that Christ loves all of us equally, and that God's house is open to all, even to senators from New York, so whoever is muttering stuff and saying mean things while pretending to cough can just quit it right now.

That said, she has definitely been trying to paint herself as a more conservative person, even a woman of "faith." Now defending faith-based initiatives Link. Here's a quote:

Addressing a crowd of more than 500, including many religious leaders, at Boston's Fairmont Copley Plaza, Clinton invoked God more than half a dozen times, at one point declaring, "I've always been a praying person."

She said there must be room for religious people to "live out their faith in the public square."

The issue of faith in politics has been at the center of debate following the presidential election, with some arguing that Bush's strong identification with religious values was a key to his victory over Senator John F. Kerry.

Doesn't sound like the liberal queen she was portraying herself to be a few years back, does it?

I can see a humorous piece portraying her as Evangelical. And she has been trying to paint herself as a moderate, but her mouth keeps getting in the way.

I don't think she's going to fool anyone. She'll just appear as inconsistent as Kerry. Americans are smarter than most give them credit for... we can see through a phony. The problem is that when we want something bad enough, we can also convince ourselves that it's so. Ironic.
