Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.
First Fraud, now Cancer of the lungs.
Published on June 9, 2005 By Dr Guy In Current Events

It seems that the more scientist dig into the mysteries of mother nature, the more they learn, and the more the myths are proved to be just that Myths.  Now comes a study that says insted of being the lungs of the planet, the Amazon is the biggest polluter!

Far from cleaning up the atmosphere, the Amazon is now a major source for pollution. Rampant burning and deforestation, mostly at the hands of illegal loggers and of ranchers, release hundreds of millions of tons of carbon dioxide into the skies each year.

I just cant wait until they come out with the statement that global warming is causing the ice sheets to grow.

Oh wait!  They already said that! LOL

Because of the burning! There was no myth.

Yup, it seems that if you don't like scientific facts, wait a few years, or find a different "expert". ;~D

Because of the burning! There was no myth.

If there was not, it was a well kept secret!

You should do a little more research and a bit more comprehension wouldn't hurt. First off we have been told for YEARS the the ONLY thing saving our butts was the Amazon rain forrest! And DG never said that the burning was or was not contributing to global warming. The myth, for your info was the fact that it's not saving but contributing to global warming!

That is exactly what this is saying!

yall cant be serious?    the rainforest isn't cutting itself down or bursting into flame spontaneously.

when are you gonna assert there's no such thing as alcohol-related vehicular homicides cuz alcohol doesn't have any living relatives.

It looks like it's the fault of the illegal loggers and ranchers. Unless you see a tree lighting itself on fire. Then it's the tree's fault.

You guys seem to be missing the point. Wether or not man is the cause, the rainforest is becoming part of the problem. It's no longer part of the solution.

Trees fall. It is the normal order of things.

Forrests burn. It is called lightening.

That being said, no one said they did commit suicide or self immolation. Only that they pollution from them outweighs the scrubbing effect they supposedly have.

Note, the article was about the end result, not the instigators of the actual causes.

See Previous response. The article is not about whose fault it is, but on the end result. The end result is that the greenies are just full of it.

WHy is it only the conservatives read what is written, instead of what they want to read? Thanks for clarifying it for those who are comprehensionally challenged.

"Forrests burn. It is called lightening."

I think the forest is being burned everyday by HUMANS but lighting is a freak event and unlikely to happen in the wet rainforest. This thread is sooooo like DUMB!!!!

Rainforest: "Ooooooo, theres too much of me better deforest myself and burn myself!!!"

SICK!!!

This just shows how much you need to learn you sicko. Rainforest=rain storm, rain storm usually equals lightening. Lightening is hot enough to "vaporize" liquid. Once that happens it's no longer wet. No wet=burn. And yet again you missed the point entirely!
