Nice headline. Did I grab your attention? This must be serious, right? I mean the Sec Def just admitted there was no exit strategy, right? Horrors! Shock! Scandal. But then read the article. I call your attention to the second paragraph:

" 'We don't have an exit strategy, we have a victory strategy,' Rumsfeld told soldiers during a surprise visit to Baghdad, according to a pooled broadcast report from the capital. 'The goal is to help the Iraqi Forces develop the skills and the capacity to provide their own security.' "

Uh, huh. And there is anyone out there that is going to try and argue that the mainstream media is not biased?

yea, right! And I have some lake front property in Florida to sell you!

My delightful little daughter Dabe- a little Dabe will do you (elbow & wink) - tells me Bushawitz and Chenyawitz (Israeli spies) never intended leaving Iraq after invading- at least not for a 100 or so years.

SO I guess at the minimum it is a neutral and not right wing one?

the impression i had was that you were holding it up as an example of biased mainstream media--unless there's a new code book out, that phrase never means neutral or favorable to the right.

Check the wink at the end. Note that usually means, I am joking.

You can call it any way you want, but when the headline is clearly deceptive to the meat of the article, then the writer's bias has intruded. Whether Bloomberg is biased is not the issue. But the writer clearly wanted to slam the administration by painting a false impression. That is bias.
