It seems that Moderateman's favorite city is up to it again.  This time not allowing the Marines to film a commercial on California Street.  Why only they know, and like the upstanding citizens they are, they are running away and not talking.

San Francisco has the right to deny the Marines.  A right that was created, and defended by the blood of many of those who are Marines brothers, sisters, fathers and mothers.  A right paid for by the sacrifice the selfless paid so that some sniveling coward could deny them a simple request, and then run and hide when asked why.

The why is apparent, if sad.  It is the childish mentality that seems to be gripping part of the population of this nation.  They don't want to work for anything, they just want everything.  And if denied, they cry and wail and pitch a fit and complain how unfair life is.

It is sad to see such childish and petulant behavior being practiced on such a large scale.  But then we are seeing that more and more often as the Internet brings us not always news, but information on how a child with a keyboard can cry to a larger audience about how life is not being handed to them on a silver platter.
