I Guess Democrats will be Democrats

Yes, I am negative. I am negative on Clinton's fake memory. I am negative on Edwards fake search for the second America. I am negative on Obama's war mongering. I am negative on their aids and associates criminal dealings that do not affect them.

And I am a conservative. And I also know that nothing will change. And I also know that this is going to be ignored by democrats. And I do understand.

But i so wish I could at least root for, much less vote for, a democrat. One who is honest and true. It (admission time here) has been 16 years since I did. And when I did, I am proud to say I voted for a good one. He is still around, and doing good. But he is a minority (in more respects than one).

I wish that the MSM would talk about the evils of democrats. So at least they could address the issue and face it. but as we saw in 04, they are only going to print what they feel is good for their candidate. not the truth.

Too bad they are too myopic to understand that the news will get out. The Kerry lesson of 04 was learned by the democrats (they are not totally stupid after all), but not by the media. With friends like that, do they really need enemies? Perhaps that is why there are no "Republican" hate sites. They are too busy laughing at the MSM and their own stupidity.

I am a conservative. And I am looking for a choice. And I doubt I will find one.

The press coverage for the Dems is not favoring them or against them; it's simply a matter of rating and circulation. Please admit that it is historical that a woman and a black man are running for president--that's a hell of story and people are interested. That's it; no FOX news leanings--MSM is "fair and balanced." Also be honest: aren't the Rebublican candidates pretty damned dull?

I will admit your point. But I think Ted (and I) are looking at the overall picture, not the current play. It is a fact that the MSM fawned over kerry in 04 to the point that he did not realize he was screwing up with the voters until it was too late.

yes, the Obama-Clinton drama is a good one. And will get more press coverage. My whine is not about that. It is about how they do not call them to task for their boners. Right now, the only people calling any democrats to task for their boners - are the other candidates.

No, not the DNC - ANY Democrat. They were scooped in their own back yard by the Post on the Spitzer scandal! And have yet to run a full expose on it!

I'd just be happy to hear someone from the left give us an example of where the MSM reported a story against a Democrat. So far, no matter how vile or dispicable the charge against a Democrat, the MSM either downplays it completely, or allows the Democrat to make a statement, then acts as if that statement actually meant anything.

The latter seems more prevalent. yes, they accept the excuses and dig no further. Until the alternate media does. But then who looks to the NY Times to do exposes any longer anyway?

I know of none, and I issued a challenge for anyone to link to them. As yet, while I see some clowns wallowing in their ignorance, I have seen nothing on par with du.org or the dailykos on the right.

Hateful? Possibly. But they were not of a nature of personal destruction as the one I posted from DU (which is just one of many). I know we can find a lot of examples on both sides where "She is a cow, stupid idiot" or "he is such a moron and an idiot." That is one thing. But hoping, wishing or asking for the death or injury of members of the other side? That is where I come up short on the right. As I said on the other one, those are not nice sights, and they are very partisan. But either due to the TOU or restraint on the part of the participants, they are not yelling for the death of Clinton, Obama, or Edwards.

And all have websites where they post their daily comments. Gideon linked to one of the, Sean Hannity. So go to those web sites and show me this kind of filth. I am not saying it does not exist, only that I know of none, and would like to see where it is occuring.

And I dont think Randi Rhodes or Al Franken is right wing.
