Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

Ok, now you now.  I love Star Trek!  The original, TNG, DS9, Voyager, and Enterprise.  I miss it too, as well as the 10 movies.

But watching TNG (I have a stupid chest cold so am taking vicks cough drops and staying away from my co workers), they are on the Second season of TNG.  And I hate Diane Muldaur!  Excuse me Dr. Kate Pulaski!  She is the worst actor/actress on any of the series bar none!  How could they have done such a boner to get her!  I thought I was rid of her when she fell down the empty elevator shaft on LA Law! (Oops, that was a stunt double.  DAMN!).

So who is your worst character in the Star Trek Genre?  You can pick any of them and tell us why!  Just dont tell me you love Diane Muldaur!  Gaaaaggggg!

Worst character by far was Lore. Was speaking really slowly supposed to be menacing or something? Every time I saw Lore I was disappointed. Worst "evil twin" ever.

Best character by far was Reg Barclay, played with manic pathology and chaotic nuance by Dwight Schultz (good ol' Mad Murdock from the A-Team)! I enjoyed every episode with him, and it was truly poetic how he helped program the Voyager's holographic ship's doctor and his personality (along with Doc Zimmerman).

And no, I didn't mind Voyager. The one I didn't like was DS9. Never could get into it, found it dumb and derivative. But I did meet Armin Shimerman (Quark) once at a British food store in Scottsdale, AZ. He was signing autographs there because the owner of the food shop was his sister.

I don't love Everything Star Trek

We forgive you.

I met Nog.  He was at a mini convention in town.  Seemed ordinary enough without the makeup.

I loved Q.  But the Ferengi?  They really kind of morphed over the latter series.  I remember the first season and the Guardian.  From that, to Quark's mom?  Does not compute.

I never like that guy in the Red Shirt that went down to that planet and was killed.

I haven't researched it, but it is my understanding that the switch between the doctors was because Rodenberry didn't like the doctor, and wanted someone more like McCoy. If you note, she acts almost exactly like Bones.

I was always hard on Berman, especially in terms of the movies, but I think Roddenberry left to himself wouldn't have done that great of a job with TNG. A lot of the annoyances I had with it later turned out to be Roddenberry's idea, or so I take it from what I read. When you go back and watch the early seasons where he had more control, you find that they are a lot more slipshod.

Just my opinion.

Wesley was the best! SO why? Please explain.

Um, is 'slimy smartass' enough of an explanation?

By the way, that just reminds me - some guys here in germany re-dubed several episodes of TNG. Quite funny, because although their dialogs are 100% silly, they fit the expressions of the actors perfectly. Picard is always bullying everyone and threatening to start a fight all the time, but of couse he never does. Data is a retired showmaster and Worf always complaining that everyone is sooooo evil... hillarious stuff.

I'm not a good trekkie because I can't remember her name but I hated that religous leader on DS9. She didn't even have to talk just seeing her made my blood boil. I guess it's just the type.

My favorites were Kira, Odo and for some reason I loved Gul Ducat.

I should rent these DVD's I haven't seen them in so long. I watched TNG sporadically, DS9 regulary, and only occasionally watched Enterprise or Voyager.

I didn’t really like Kess on Voyager. I don’t know the actresses name. She was replaced by 7 of 9. Now I know what you are thinking, but I love THE BORG! The SNG series on the BORG was the best star trek ever. Deep Space Nine was never my cup of tee. I just think that was poor writing. Live Long and Prosper. Great post

If there was one that I always felt disappointment upon seeing, it was Ensign Ro Laren on TNG. I never bought her rebelliousness vs. the trust that was put in her. It just always seemed pouty and cheesy when she was a major part of the plot. The only one that was really good with her, imho, was the one where She, Picard, and Guinan were turned into kids. She was in other good ones, but they were good in spite of her, omho.

Doctor in Drag?  Yea, she may have acted more like Bones, but Muldaur just plain cant act.

As for your comment about Berman vs Roddenberry, if you watched DS9, you can tell when Roddenberry died.  Because all of a sudden all the series was concerned about was war.  I think it went down hill after his death.  Perhaps Roddenberry should not have been the director, but his stories were definitely better.

Ok, was just curious.

As for the dubbed ones, are the available on the internet?  I would like to see them if so, or at least snippets.
